rite, im looking to buy a 2ltr 16v turbo (out of a cav or calibra) lump to put into my nova, i know the body has to be strengthd so ive got that sorted. what else needs to be done? for example
do i have to relocate the engine mounts
wiring up to nova gsi dash
just things like that im not to sure about but i can do if someone puts me in the right direction lol.
any feed back would be much appreciated
thanks chris
there is a guide on www.valvers.com
what have you done to "strengthen" the engine bay ? really tbh the whole shell doesn't need to be done, that's only really for added rigitity
remember that your insurance also has to be notified

its basically the same as fitting a 20xe except youve also got a turbo hanging off the front so u need to move the rad forward and find space for an intercooler
also - fit the F28, dont bother arsing around with the F20 as it wont last
it takes a bit more work yes but its worth it imo[/code]
yer i was thinking that, maybe at the end of the year or more, i might try and get one as i'v just seen a skoda turbo with a massive inter cooler on the front an it was bloody QUICK.
how much do you recon you can get an engine, box, loom etc for?

the engine an boxes go for well over a grand, they dont come cheap.

it'll be worth it one day though :D
