GSi Backbox v Standard box

right, i've seen a few standard Gsi's around my way, and both looked to have standard exhausts.

I take it they are different to the standard nova exhaust, as both that i have seen had a slightly Sporty tip on the end. it wasn't as much as a replacment backbox, but it was enough to make it look different.

I've tried looking on the net, but i can't seem to find many pics of Gsi's with standard exhausts on !

ive just looked on epc and they are defo listed as a different part number from the rest of them

e/c16se - 90399013 - which says (AFTERMARKET SPECIFICATION) (IRMSCHER)

c14se also has its own backbox

but 1.2, 1.2i, 1.4 and 1.4i all have the same backbox

yer, that's definetly what i thought...

is there a specific difference in tailpipe tho ? as the ones i've seen look like aftermarket exhausts, and im not sure whether they are, or not ?

i would of thought they would be different, due to the rear bumper having a little cut out?

gsi rear doesnt have a cutout?

they do, just a small cut out, that standard nova's don't have....

I have the standard gsi backbox from mine in the garage and yes it does have a large chrome end to it. It sounds quite nice aswell-nothing stupidly loud but definately noticeable. I've tried to sell it before for ?15 but no-one was interested :cry:
