after reconsidering getting a dual exit custom system made, i'm going to spend the money on getting some panels resprayed.

my original idea was to have a 3" stainless straight cutt box either side of the back bumper.

instead (going for a sleeper look) i'm going to try using 2 standard GSi backbox's.

For the time being it'l be runnign with a standard GSi system which i'l buy new.

is there any chance of me fitting a backbox down the other side, and piping it all up ? or are the "secondary" custom box's smaller than the "primary" one ?

Thanks for any help

you could use a normal one if u removed the spare wheel well

u'd still have trouble fitting a Y piece in as the backboxes are quite large but it should just about be possible

perhaps look at ashleys range of backboxes

u can buy 2 backboxes to fit your space for pennies and some pipe to connect them up, ud really need to be handy with a welder tho

hmm.. so..

when you get a custom system made, the secondary backbox is obviously a very compact version of the box that's in the original place ?

Looks like i'l just have to get it done, but i'm going to get them to make them up as a standard looking exhausts

if your going to pay then get 2x 1.75-2" streight cut outlets in stainless

that way u have a bit of class and it wont look shite and rusty after a few months

u probably wont get the flow of each box equal if you did it urself because custom exhausts usually have an adjustable gate somewhere in the pipe so you can adjust the flow of the 2nd box to match the first one.

Have to agree...Why have two boxes when only one works! Lol. See tonnes of Max power Starlets & civics round here with fake boxes, One smokin other doin nowt! Spend the cash & have both connected up. I wanted to do the 2 GSi rear box system before too. Think it will look spot on.
