Solenoid Kit

Guys I need some helo in finding a solinoid valve for the boot of my car (saloon). Car was broken in to and the boot lock was damaged, I am thinking of welding a plate over it and putting solenoid valve. Can someone advise me where I can get it!

you can get a full kit from www.corsacentre.com mate or you can have a look round scrappies and get some off escorts i think it is..

Maplins do the single poppers (or at least my one does) for around a tenner.
Justnovas/corsas had a deal on these as well but I dont know if thats still going.
