Well the blak(ish) SRi has finally given up on me . All still runs fine but its the chassis which has let it down, the passenger side inner wing has collapsed and the suspension turret seam has all split. Just been to get a 1.2SXi as a run around, its pretty good actually full GSi kit, lowered 60mm, smooth boot, SRi intereior but its soooo slow! Seems to take about ten mins to reach 70! Anyway i had to laugh when i looked under the bonnet to find a corsa airbox on it with a....wait for it.... MAX POWER induction kit
Im already missing my black one, everyone sed it was s**t and i know it was but i had grown attached to it lol. Thats 3 now that are at me grans, she getting very annoyed.
Pics...eventually
Andy
no chance of welding it up?
Surely you can get a new panel or two - shouldnt be that expensive.
Ade
Might the SRi engine not just happen to fall into the SXi?

shut it phillip!
Been thinking about what aragon said about the mpi fuel pump out an astra etc but was wondering about a swirl pot?? is it necessary or anything and are the fuel lines up to delivering the pressure needed? Anyway basically i think im gonna take the engine out the black one and then eventually transplant (with some help  ) into the SXi possibly even put in the GTE engine i have. Would it be easier just to put the engine on to the box thats in the SXi or would i have poo performance out of the SRi engine
Missing the black one even more now, the SXi is soooo slow and uses more fuel than the SRi cuz i keep having to boot it everywhere to compensate for the slowness!
