Tuning 1.4Mpi

I have a 1.4Mpi from a Corsa, will be fitting it to my nova. I also have a 1.4Mpi modified head, I will be fitting this onto the MPi engine.

Can I fit bigger injectors from a 1600MPi or even a 2.0L MPi? Anyone tried this or know if it will give more poke.

You can physicaly fit them in the inlet manifold but they will give you no gains, on std mannagment and no mods.

you will actually lose power and fuck the engine because of overfueling and borewash

u should maybe read up on engine tuning a bit

its not about getting more petrol into the engine

its about getting more AIR into the engine and providing the correct amount of fuel to burn that air perfectly

I used to messing with carbs. I thought with the modified head it might need more fuel, or would the ECu compesate for this, It doesn't have an airflow meter so how does it know how much air is going in.
