Anyone know how to repair windscreens???

I have wiper marks on my windscreen (nothing that impairs my vision but i'm worried it'll be failed on the MOT). I think they were caused by something on the wiper arm, not the wiper itself. I've heard you can buy 'glass compound' and polish them out but i cant find any anywhere :?

Anyone know how to repair it or done it before?

if its bothering you that much swap the windscreen, its not a hard job in nova anyway.

Well its actually not on the nova (as its now gone :cry: ) Its on the Omega :oops: and i priced up a new screen and the cheapest is ?115, so i'd rather try to repair it myself.

They are bonded so i wouldnt try and remove one, try action windscreens terry there quite good.

Cheers Ben. I went to the place i get my MOT's done and he said it'd be down to MOT'er discretion weather it failed on it or not-he said he'd pass it :D

Although i do want to try and polish it out slightly. I'll still phone 'action windscreens' and get a quote for a repair. Cheers

PS, Ben i'm interested in the alloys but i'm watching some on ebay that end Wednesday night. I'll let you know :wink:
