hi all, looking at uprating the cam in the xe (when it goes in)where is the best place to buy from and which one??

i think you can't go much more uprated until you have to pocket your pistons.

I have a set of QED Q42h cams in mine, they are the only ones fo the xe where you dont have to go ot solid lifters an pockets pistons. Its only a mild cam but does give a noticable increase. They cost about 200 for a pair, if you take in your olds ones.

If you want to go a bit further I have a set of QED 420's for sale, If i'm not mistaken the 42H cams are the same as Courtenays cams which are ?150 exchange if you go through them

Ideally the 420's do need solid lifters and pocketed pistons, but they can be run on standard marks if you dont have pocketed pistons
