My car seems a bit slow to pick up under acceleration.

Once it gets to around 3500 rpm, it seems to pick up quite quickly but under the 3500 rpm it seems to take forever to get going.

I have fitted a Pierburg 2E carb, which I have cleaned with carb cleaner.

Can anyone tell me the symptoms of under or overfuelling?

I will be putting it in to get set up properly in a few weeks (Pay day) but just to see if I can sort it out a bit before then.

Thanks

Colin

sufficiently lean and sufficiently rich would both cause lack of accelleration

richness generally is what causes it but i'd rather have it running rich than lean

if ur not sure on the fuelling then dont drive it hard at all untill the carb is setup
