what cam on t40 1.6 GTE

as above, its a track car so i don't care about idle, its on twin 40's, a-pack head, i'm looking at the kent range. i.e NVO or AST be better low down to mid range and not that fussed about top end.

as above, any brand will do. 285-290 deg cam.

nvo are designed for use with injection.

Ast2/3 deffo, or piper 285/300.

If set up correctly the Idle will be fine. Mine does and I have the Piper 300 cam.

granted NVO is more for injection, but tis useable on a carbsetup.

id say a piper 285 cam would be ideal, esp as you can get them in the FS forum ;) lol

i will back jim up as i run the kent ast2 cam and idle is perfect

My old kent nvo62 cam got slotted in a nova sport and it was good lol

i also run the ast2 and it idles fine with my T40's.

When i was using a 32/34 it wasn't so good, but i think if i had it set-up properly it would of helped a bit.
