I have recently got a 1.4 MPi engine from a corsa, complete with loom ECU, inlet manifold etc. I want to fit it to my nova, currently running a carbed engine. The car is for autotesing and doesn't have much of a wiring loom, ie start stops etc. Anyone any idea what's involved or what the wires in the connection block in the loom are?

Any info would be great.

Cheers

Hello
you will need to run a 3bar fuel system. the corsa loom will wire up.
there sould be one plug with all the wires you need.
Are you running a altnater??

I had to make the wiring loom for the car, so don't have a plug I need to know what each wire does. I am running an Altenator, headlights, wiper but that's it. Would I need to get a fuel pump then aswell.

To run the alt you will need vee belt alt and bottom pully.
Wireing:-
Red = live feed
Black = ing feed
red/blue = fuel pump output
thin blue/red = cars speed senser
blue = temp senser

tell me which wire I will try and help.

green is tacho and brown-blue is management light

u will want both of those connected up (u can connect the management light to the brown/yellow that normally goes to the choke switch
