its a 325i sport. E30 - a decent bmw. very clean, in and out. well maintained. poor mans M3 as i like to call it - it does have the ssshmooth 2.5 straight 6, 170bhp instead of lairy 2.3 4 pot, 230bhp.

yeah wheels are 15". ebay, bmwownersclub have a forum/for sale section, as does e30zone. theyre best bet i guess.

he's next planning a scorpion system; if poss a 6 branch too.. and 17" alpina reps.. externally that'll be it.. next year he says he wants 2.7 strocker kit - easily see over 200bhp.
as breeny may voucher theyre not lightning quick; more a refined, smooth effortless drive, if it wasnt for his lsd; off the mark ide pip him in the nova.. mind u wish the ol' nov wud turn as many female heads as his does..

I had an E21 323i. It was an X-Touringg car, had huge brakes, LSD, Quick rack and Quick Shift box, i stuch a 525e Crank in it, cant remember what else but it wound up being 2.7l then. It was serious bit of kit. A real tyre eater.

I'm a big BMW fan mate. Nice one.

Yeah the 325is is the one to have Means injected sports. My friend has had two e30 318is's. They have around 30bhp more, The "is" basically means the cars twin cam 16v. Very decent cars good for 250,000 trouble free. Its quicker then the e30 M3.
Looks very nice in red although I would say it looks nice in red wouldnt I! Lol. 8)

Erm are you trying to say that a e30 318is is faster than a M3?? Cause thats rubbish, the M3 is a crazy fast car. And the 318is is not that fast!!

Think the 318is has 136bhp std. And the 325 has more but not sure how much. Think its very even around a track between them.

With a 50bhp defecit and a hell of a lot less torque? Your off your rocker mate.

The BM looks minty fresh mate! Looks in lovely condition too. Id say leave it how it is now, unless he can wack an m3 wide arch kit on?

I was not aware of a e30 325is?? they made the 318is and the very rare 320is thats all.

And theres no way that a std 325i would be faster than a M3!! as dan said.

i had an e30 m3 for just over a year and i can safely say that it was a lot quicker than a standard 325is  and when it comes to the first corner a 325is doesn't stand a chance, in fact most cars don't stand a chance :D the handlings awesome!!

lol; between me and my mate si, who owns the 325 sport - we also have a e21 we were goin to restore; but she's soon off to scrappy in the sky.. too far gone.. this one was a 316 1.8, with twin choke weber, 13" bbs' and we dropped it 60mm on spax.

thats a real shame that, at work we can still get parts for all those old beemers, even ones from the 50's :o
