Nova Sri Problem

I have a nova sri with a big problem, after a good trash or a long motorway run when i come to the next junction my car will not go! it revs(when the cluch is down) but it has no go(when you let the cluch up) it just dies. Thanks for any help Rick Draper

sounds like fuel blockage sumwhere

sounds daft but when mine was a 1.2 carb (yes i know he hasnt got a carb!) i ha dthe same problem, i woiuld be mint for weeks till a stook my foot down then when i backed off it wouldnt pull properlly again. a blue bottle had flown down the filler neck through the pump (i dont think it would have actually flew threw the pump!) and had got stuck in my fuel jet (well half did i never found the other half)

it would float round in my carb till i booted it and then jam in the fuel jet.

sounds simmiler so check any fuel filters coz they could be clogged or collapsing under load or summit.
