When i bought my gsi the ariel was removed from the wing and the ariel was a electric ariel stuck on the top of the windscreen which i thought was a neat idea coz it stops u having to drill a hole in your roof to fit a bee sting.

Yeah, I've seen something similar but the ones I've seen look as tacky as anything. Will have to keep looking.

Epo....... how easy/difficult do you reckon the escort ones are to get hold of? Werent they bonded to the window like the heater?

I seem to recall somebody saying its possible to run a wire round the windscreen, or along inside the headlining to act as an aerial...

Just been reading on MIG about the Omega ones. They attatch to the rear heated screen and use that. If I can get hold of one I'll prob go that way.

Why don't you get get a pretty pwerful one, maybe amplified as well and hide it in the pillars behind the seat belts that way u can't see it..?

nice easy on i've done is to bolt one of those rubber replacements to the dash bracket on the passenger side, works really well. only cost 2 quid as well!
