bit of a silly question
-80mm springs prehaps ? lol
if that's not your cup of tea, then coilovers are the best bet.

where do you get 80mm sorings from
err www.coilsprings.co.uk
or it's some variation of that (coilspring, .com, coil-spring(s))
they wont go through an MOT though, as the backones literally fall out when the car is jacked up. A friend of mine went a bit airborne on a hump back bridge and one of his rears came out. His were Bodge/DIY chopped, but were roughly -80mm.
Coilovers would be alot better, better handling, adjustibility. Just a hefty price Tag

i have coil overs but they are on my other nova
wanna do it on the cheap as its just a tempory nova and i wanna see how low i can get one
if it's not a road car, then just chop the springs...
the proffesionally shortened springs cost a hefty amount also, about ?120 i think.
you'l eventually have trouble with the exhaust being squashed into the rear beam, but i think they can go pretty slow.
in the above pics it looks higher than 60mm
mine was 60 and looked alot lower :?

Cut the front turret tops off, and weld in a section to raise them up about 40mm, that will lower the front - 100mm.
Do the same with the rear shock, top of turret, cut off and raise.
Cut into the rear chassie leg and box it inwards and upwards about 40mm.
One saloon nova -100mm. Then if you want to go lower again, get -80mm springs.

i think the saloons allways look higher !
it probably looks higher because of the arches on it, 80mm springs are your best bet matey, that nova is in good condition buy the way :D

put some bigger wheels on it and it will look visually lower as the arches will be filled more
pimp the ride!
stock a set of 10-12 inch wheels on it and stick 80mm/100mm springs/shock.
Or go hydraulic!
Bigger wheels will work - but it'll raise the car from the ground so add a super low side skirt/bumpers.
it all depends on the budget at the end of the day.
i love photoshop!
