After my gsi lump packed in i replaced in with the same unit (C16SE) but the fella who i bought it off had courtenay do some work on it..and it is quicker. Already snapped a driveshaft! just wondering if anyone could give an idea of prices for a RR session.

Cheers.

Yeah costs me that sometimes, Carbs aint cheap to get setup are they!?

But all you want is a power run...Round here its ?45. No tweaking etc, Just a straight run what ya brung. Rolling roads are never cheap.

If all you want is a power run then it shouldn't cost too much, ?30-?40 depending on the place.

I spent a full afternoon on the rollers getting the car tuned, changing the chokes and jets on the carbs, hence why it was so much. I think I did about 4 or 5 power runs during the course of the afternoon.

Yup, around ?40, depending on the RR. Groups can wager a lower price tho, I'm going with the GTi-6 OC to one in Andover which works out at ?25 a go. Alas they don't do 4WD so I can't get my Beast from the East run, but taking my mates Pug instead.
