heater vents

am putting a mk2 dash in to my mk1. iv seen the head unit in the place of the heater vents at the top of the dash befor how do i do this properly and make it look good? please help asap. cheers lads

best bet is to get a head unit reducer from halfords
was told a audi is the best one to use (dont ask why)
then cut it and smooth it in
