Just a quick post to let You all know that I am rallying again on Sunday :D

I'm doing an event at Chertsey testing ground Longcross, near Sunningdale. I've navigated this venue probably 10 times in the last 6 years but this is My first time driving there.

Got the car more or less sorted this afternoon and took it for a thrash this evening to make sure all is well

Anyway another 05:00 start for Me on Sunday, I'll let You know how I get on!!

Not quite when promised but here goes anyway,

Stage 1 - Fastest 1400 by 19 secs or so.

Stage 2 - Fastest 1400 by 20 secs.

Stage 3 - Fastest 1400 by 20 secs.

Stage 4 - Fastest 1400 by 22 secs.

Stage 5 - Car stopped mid stage with no warning at all, no ignition. End of rally, there and then.

Once towed back to service area fault found to be a dodgy flip ignition switch. Bought a new one this morning for ?6.50p

So basically after half the rally I was leading the class by 1 minute 21 secs but failed to finish because of a poxy ?6.50 switch

AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah thats not good. But still you were clearly ahead from the stages you did. How many stages were in the rally?

There was 8 stages in total, if everything had carried on as it was I'd have won the class by 3 minutes give or take a few seconds

Should have some good photos coming too!! Big air 8)

BigRuss

Each stage was about 7 or 8 miles long, to be honest we were having a really good day untill the switch buggered up!!!!

New switch is fitted now and the car is ready to go for it's next rally which is the weekend of May 14th+15th. We are off to do the Monteberg Rally sprint in Belgium 8)

Oh, there is Castle Combe in between too
