bigger engine

ive decided id like a bigger angine for my nova without going mental.
id like something 70-80 bhp so it'll be fast enough to keep up with my mates 106 1.1 as the 1200 45bhp engine i curently have isnt going to give me the power i want any suggestions as to which engine i should get??

is it a carb 1.2 that uve got? or is it the later 1.2 spi??
ideal engines are the 1.4 carb (out of 1.4 sr) or 1.4 mpi (out of sri) both between 75-85bhp. give the nova near 10 sec 0-60 and well over a tonne top speed. if u couple it to a f13cr, itll accelerate quicker still, i think.

i have a tuning guide for the 1.2i which defo helps out a lot

my bro ran an 18.8 1/4 mile with his with the mods listed and that was his first time at the strip

and im positive it would hose a 1.1 saxo

was about even with a 1.2 16v corsa the other night with me in the car too from 70-90ish and was all over his arse up to that point
