k & n cone or panel

hi ppl. i have a 1300 sr and am currently running a cone straight off the carb. i have been thinking and would the HOT hair coming off the engine not be getting sucked straight into the cone?? ( hot air induction slows you down, no???) would it not be better to use a panel filter in the standard air box to achive cold air induction? thanks. Kevin Mitchell

folk bang on about cold air feeds and shite

its all crap - stick a thermometer in the air filter and drive along and you'll see the temp stays nice and low

only when u stop does it creep up - and even then it would do the same with or without the cold air feed as theres simply no airflow
