1.2 Stalled Custom Airfilter

hey guys this lunch time i drilled 5 big holes into my air filter and it stalled once and wants to stall or idles rubbish would it be better to only have a few holes plus one is right over the inlet of the carb thanks

errrm i hope you put the holes in the air box not the filter lol

any holes u drill should all be outside the filter perimeter otherwise u can draw dirt/grit etc into your engine

u may find you've already damaged something hence the stalling

Sounds like you screwed it up! If its just a standard flying saucer shaped housing I've got one sat in my room you can have. ?15 to yyour door!

well theres shit in it anyway loads a gunk lol it only stalled once the other times it iddint but even before i did this it idles really shit anyway but it has done 128k miles there isnt even a airfilter in there i just drilled the lid im gonna cover a few holes in a mo after tea :D I need to get a service :D

hmmm no filter in there....your cleaver then. plus did you take the filter housing off before you drilled it??

no i took the lid of first and there is 4 holes on the outside of the airfilter which is now back in there so its ok now up to now anyway ;D thanks for help
