steering column shear bolt help!

The shear bolt on my steering column, the one that holds one side of the upper bracket to the chassis is not budging tried hammer and centre punch the lot! any ideas? thanks

Mr Grinder if you can get it in there. I just made a notch in mine and put a small chisel in there and hit it until it came loose. I was quit difficult though. A real PITA job. Good luck.

i drilled a small hole through the centre and used a bit of wd40 and a stud extracter.
