Bloody doors

:( Just noticed mine have started to bubble at the bottom, just what I need :evil:

Anyone know if they are easily repaired when they start bubbling (only smallish ones at the mo) or is a case of buy new doors? GM ones are expensive aren't they?

Anyone know who sells fibreglass doors?

If you consider ?400 a door expensive, then yes. lol.

You can repair rust, but at the end of the day it will come back eventually. If the door frame is Ok, why not try re-skinning the bottom half of the door?

if its only small if u get it seen to fast u shud be ok .. if not have a look on ebay for example for clean ones .. there always on there ..

either that or go for a door skin ?? cheaper than a whole door ..

fibreglass doors, hmm i wouldnt unless youve got a decent cage with door bars lol. i know some people will say that even door bars wont protect against piercing damage but hey as CP put it, GRP doors are like hiding behing eggshells lol

true mate, I don't like they idea of getting hit side on with fibreglass doors :? , its just that they wont rot :D

Its bubbling at the front bottom corner of the door, there are a few of them appearing, its a shame cos I've just had them sprayed about 8 months ago and they're goin already :(

my local dealer quoted ?200 for the full skin and ?200 for a frame.

my local vauxhall dealer quoted ?180 for a new door but you won't
get me payin that.
phone up the scrap yards. its hard work to find mint ones but it can be done.
i got a brand new door that had been put on a repaired nova but then they decided scrap it, ?25.
and then i found a mint pssenger door in a little scrap yard in a small welsh villiage. it was luxe aswell so had the blue interior. again ?25.
