new to novas

hi,

I recently bought my first nova, with the intention of doin a 2ltr xe conversion

and the alloys i just won on ebay for it ..

got a lot of plans that keep changing daily lol ..

but the main way im hoping to take it is euro styled in baby blue .. wheels refurbd and poweder coated white, and a 2 ltr ..

custom interior and dash with no rears jus a custom install .. in between all that is still to be found lol ..

any tips on 2 ltr conversions and any cheap parts are more than welcome :D

Nice wheels, theres a cav round my way that has them fitted.

I believe theres a guide on www.valvers.com to fitting the XE engine

as andy said it looks like a solid base to start a project on, what plans have you got for the bodywork?

body work wise .. i was looking at a abyss kit ( dont cry jus yet) .. but have almost changed my mind ..

seen a custom smooth rear bumper bit deeper n lower than standard and smooth

the front i want either the abyss style front .. or the one off the ginger car in here .. really nice not sure wat its off tho ..

skirts i have no idea yet still looking .. jus want it low and real smooth

audi door handles i think .. boot just de locked maybe smoothed ..

de badged bonnet ..

then a drop thatll make those 16"s snug under the arches ..

may go for a slightly euro flared arch look ..

then a full respray in & out in baby blue .. wheels refurbed and powder coated pure white ..

after that im really not sure .. got to work out all the fine details yet :D
start stripping it down this weekend .. see wat critters lie beneath :D

nahhh, white and grey bumpers lol, its the way forward ;)

lol all an abyss kit is, is a Copy of the Nova GSi bumpers but smoothed.

And it's a very very bad copy.

if you want an abyss kit, just smooth the GSi stuff (and if you really want to, stick an R&A splitter on the back) and it will look 100% better than the badly fitting, fibreglass Abyss stuff.

Abyss isn't euro, it's more like an early 90's kit.

Wheels were finally collected on saturday and fitted .. look amazin but areabout 1/2 - 1 inch to wide so as i was planning originally some custom arches are goin on it soon :D

will get pics asap :wink:
