oryt mate ive fitted 1 to my nova,

, remove all locks and badges and the grab handle
, sand the tailgate.
, plenty of davids P40 fibre glass filler on the back of the panel.
, stick on the tailgate it may take 2 of you to line it up propperly
, once its stuck and if theres any gaps bridge them with the fibre glass filler

flat the edges off and and get the good old car body filler out and round the edges then flat it off again with fine sand paper and that should be some were near to finish

Hope it helps mate

is flushing a tailgate difficult without the panel? how long does it take and wats the easiest way

I would seriously recommend welding a plate over not bonding one, and then give it a skim of filler to level off.. It will last much longer. Filler sinks and moves/cracks.

cheers! so if a weld a plate in first then go over the edges with filler?!?

I'm with Alex (not like that you sick bastards), welding in a plate is by far the best solution. Use as little filler as possible (but obviously enough to fill the gaps sufficiently), as the less filler there is, the less will crack.

I've also heard some people say the Supernovas panels can warp...?

i find the best way is to weld a metal plate in the use fibreglass and mating to bring it up smooth then a kikw thin skim of filler makes a rock solid crack free job

i've bought a blanking panel, but iff its starts warping or cracking i'll weld a plate over the recess

I got an ABS Plastic Blanking panel for the back of mine. It only comes to the fold below the window, and if it warps i'll weld it to the face of the guy that sold it to me!

Roughly how much to get the boot lid fluched? I've noticed myself that its not gonna be easy to bond this thing onto the Nova.

prices will vary for getting someone to smooth your boot. if you know someone that can weld, get them to put the plate on or strip all the trim off drive to a fabricators and see if someone will weld the plate on for a few quid the fill n sand it yourself. if your not shy of a bit of elbow grease then do it.

I wouldnt bother with the supernovas blank, i got one
from them for my corsa and it was no where near a good
fit so i ended up binning it
but for the nova i found the best bet was to weld in a plate

yep welding a plate in is the best bet, like people have said the less filler the better :D
