another one of the Novaload media tart Gallery

Fastcar published a r/r report covering a novaload event

Chris T and his car were in the Powerzone catalogue (pictured on the rollers)

CP & MC were in TV a couple of times

CP (again!) was in revs (i think) on a Big Vs Small Rims debate

now we add

Benji - In the position familiar to many of us nova owners - under the bonnet!

hi matey how's it going.

did you get a new car sorted? what happened in the end with your insurance.

for anyone wondering what the hell i'm on about, ad's had a fiesta zetec s with a turbo conversion, i raced him at pod then again at donington. at pod we were very even on the 2 races we had, and at donington i told him i would wave as i went past, i did, then i ended uptaking the 'rural' route around the craner curves.

unfortunally it's dead now, it caught fire a while ago.

Im still waiting to hear back from the insurance company offering me some ??? been waiting nearly 6 weeks now.

Everytime i phone up all they seem to say is 'were really busy this time of year but it should'nt be long now'.

I think im going to get another Fiesta zetec s but never again going to turbo it. I almost bought my brothers nova but my insurance would cost the same as a fiesta :o

Heres some pics of my fiesta after the fire damage

how did fire start? turbo overheat or summit?

yer if it was a mod i dont see why it would be covered under insurance?

if i go fiddling with the fuel pump or some electrics and the car goes on fire thats really not the insurances problem, just like if u set it on fire while welding they wouldnt be interested?

thats why the cover below comprehensive is called

third party

FIRE

and

thieft

i.e it covers for fire damage (unless you are found ot have torched it intentionally i presume. Comprehensive is as above but covers for own "accident" damage too

on a side note, a lad i knew had a zetec S turbo'd and that wus fucking nowt but a nightmare too

the turbo conversion was insured

Every mod on the car was declared on the insurance so i should have no wories.

Im not sure how the fire started the insurance investigator could not find where is started from either he said it was too badly burnt in the engine bay.

I just want to get some money to buy a new car a.s.a.p.
