Water Pump

I was trying to get my water pump off yesterday.

Problem is one of the torq bolts is being chewed up. I cant hit the torq bit in any further as I cant get clearance to hit it with a hammer.

Any 1 got any ideas how to get this little fuc%er out?

what do you mean by torque bolts? 1 of the 3 water pump bolts?

are they hex headed or allen key required?

they are allen (hex) heads so if your using a torx bit thats proly why uve rounded it off

get some vice/mole grips into it

havn't established if they actually are the water pump bolts were on about.

p.s. the bolts on my 1.2 pump are hex headed. (though my 1.6's are allen head).
