4 channel = 4 outputs = 4 speakers.

Guessing its 4.1 as it says a bit about a subwoofer output on the smallprint there? In which case you can stick another sub on lol.

380w RMS - that link doesn't say if thats on just one channel, or in bridged mode etc. But 380W RMS is a little over the RMS rating on your Sony sub.

Dunno what Shark audio is like - some people have said its good for the money, but don't expect it to match the likes of Alpine, Magnat, Cerwin Vega etc.

Incidentally my Magnat amp is 2kW max, running two of the sony 12" pentagon subs. Sounds top notch 8)

So should it be able to run my sub then you think mate? Been offered one for ?50 and already have one amp thats useless- ?70 down the pan, as it doesn't power my sub :(

Really want to avoid wasting more money!

yep, should be ok, for ?50 can't really go wrong!

lol @ the "Top Features" list on that site - metal case, adjustable gain (RCA input) control, fan, thermal protect (think the same as a kettle lol), circuit protect (yes... every amp comes with a fuse lol), remote-on power (as opposed to what?! Manually turning it on?!), Speaker circuit protection (that'll be the fuse again then lol).... all things that I would expect on any amp!

It doesn't give any technical details though, frequency responses, outputs per channel, dB level, etc.... makes you wonder why...
