well, not long back from my very first trip down a 1/4 mile.

i would like to say thanks to chris for putting me up again, getting used to driving to selby every week now lol.

the track to say the least was soaking.
but i can say what an absolute laugh it is.
my kill list was good, well i thought so.
heres my times and cars i beat and lost to.
corsa xe 16.054 win
astra turbo 15.279 lost
golf vrs 15.678 win
mutsi fto 16.263 win
astra 2l 8v 15.365 win (by 3 seconds lol)
escort rst 15.638 win
2L nova on 45's 15.756 win. and the lad blew something up trying to catch me up.

again, thanks to chris for the tips on the starting line. but i think i drove the car to the conditions, was constantly backing off the throttle to stop the car spinning.

but before we left, i looked at times for the day.
was 3rd overall out of group c of about 120 car (atleast 50 were actively running all day)

but i am smileing tonight, never tried the 1/4 before, done it with some success i think. so bring on a dry circuit.
i'm pleased and shall celebrate with a few jars now.

you should have seen my face in the car. like a child in a sweet shop.

right, i'm gonna scalp this rst.
i even told the lad with the nova on 45's that i was going to batter him down the strip. feel for him thou as there was loads of smoke blowing out.
but then, he came with car on trailer, so weren't too bad.

^^^Nice one wikid init BO!!!

Yeah was a good day out, although a little on the fresh side, glad you enjoyed it mate. I think the first time I will run this year will be at the spring nationals which is may bank holiday weekend (29th and 30th) and then the weekend after will be at the pod for PV. Everyone was running slow times yesterday, glenns rallye couldnt get under 16secs.
