trial fitted the twin 40's and found a small pipe that comes off a big water elbow that is attatched to the coolant gallery. this small pipe used to attach to the inlet manifold but now has nothing to fix to what shall i do with it?

ill get a picture later.
any ideas?

on your manifold there should be a pipe that you can connect this to, its the cooland feed to the head. unless you have connected something else there,

im assuming that you mean the smaller pipe that comes from a large S bend shape pipe that feeds the water pump to the platic pipe that leads round the block

which engine?

if its a 1.6 then the pipe coming off the elbow is a heater feed for the throttle body and isnt required any more

or i have the part numbers for both the pipes from vauxhall that you need. The heater matrix to block and matrix to manifold. they are 90044408 and 94137686. You cut them to size. It removes the need to crudly botch the pipes close. Theyre what i have used on my car.
