60/40 rear seat.

I fitted the 60/40 split Gsi rear seat in my 1.2 Nova today and it does'nt seem to be fitting right, :oops: this is because there are no fixings for the 60/40 bit there and there is also a piece of metal sticking up under the 40 split side, anyone no what this bit of metal is for?, as i was just going to hacksaw it off.
What can be done to secure it more?

if you rear back about 10 poists you'll see a similar thread. theres various ways depending on your know how and if you have access to awelder even better -
