I have a 1500TD nova. Does anyone know the statistics about them i.e. bhp, torque, 0-60 times etc., I would also like to know of any modifications that i can make to the engine that will improve its performance a little.

Turbo Diesels are the engines that respond best to superchips!!! bigger performance increase than if u chipped a normal turbo!!! so i'd say get it chipped and rival in your new found power!!!

67BHP 0-60 in 12 secs, 102MPH.

Personally I bet it's quicker than what this book I have here says if it's more or less as powerful as a 1.3SR which I also think the books time of 11.8 secs is a bit wrong too :)

Micky, do ya really reckon a 1.5TD can smash a 1.3SR pretty well? I'm buying 1st car soon so if I can find a cheapish TD I may go for one if they're a bit quicker than SR's :) Cheers m8.

yes mate any day theve got loads ov torque and if any decent 2 cars were to race dirty deasel will always win. I didnt belive this till i actually seen it with my own eyes. the corsa (spit etc etc) td is pretty good as well
