A mate has a 1000cc Nova and wants one of my 1400sr engines and also wants to know...

.Do the 1000ccc drives fit the 1400 Box
.Are all the hoses and other connections the same
.What else apart from my engine, box and Carb does he need?

I told him i'd get back to him today so the help is much appreciated.

shafts are the same

all the pipework is different - you'll need a 1400 rad and rad hoses and 1400 pipework to the heater matrix etc too (1200 stuff will also fit with the exception of the autochoke pipe work which u WILL need from a 1.4sr)

the 1.0 doesnt have a return feed so you'll need to fit a 1.2 or 1.4 carb fuel tank along with a new line

you'll need 1.4 coil and coil loom too

This lads got a 1600 Cav, will these parts, i.e. hoses and rads etc fit his Nova. I told him i'd ask as he's getting the Cav for nothing and another Cav being taken off the road Permantly is a good thing in my opinion!!

not really some of them might fit but the cav bay is longer so all the pipes will be longer too
