backbox

Hi i'm after a backbox for my 1.2. I want a really deep rumbling but loud sound. Anyone advise one?

I had a Peco BB2 off a 1.3SR on mine... sounded good without rasping like a lot of them do.

For best sound you'd probably be better off getting a full system.

Sportex. My 3" Outwardly rolled box sounds great, and is good if you're on a budget 8)

I'll look into them but i was thinking maybe a 4/5" tip.Any ideas?

IMO >4" back box only tends to sound very hollow, especially on smaller engined cars

I have heard them vids and it does sound very nice indeed. :wink:

I also advise against a 5" box, tbh it will look stupid on a nova.

I have only ever seen one nova round my way with a 5" box, and that was a 1.0L :roll:
They just look too big on a nova.

I would go for a nice SS 3" outward roll box myself.

i have a peco bb4 on my nova, sounds deep. cheap to pick up, i got a fiesta one and modded it to fit, as the nova ones have the backbox which goes to a pipe and the 4" exit. mine is 4" the whole way through, also helps if you remove the cat...
