tiger seals about the strongest stuff out there and at about ?9 a tube, should be!
you should be able to get it at most motor stores, try halfrauds.

i wouldn't like to trust just that to hold a spoiler on though.

I wouldn't trust it either, especially for a spoiler which by design will have the wind pushing against it. Thats the last thing you want falling off at 90mph.

there bolts that have been fitted to the spoiler, not spikes lol  , on some tailgates , gsi, sri's, the bolt went through the top of the tailgate and a nut went on the end thats how they were kept on, and thats what the SPIKES are for lol

they usually as standard would bolt on .. but you can use tiger seal i did a friends ecosse auxia spoiler( huge roof spoiler) with the same stuff .. and BELIEVE me its goin no where .. all u have to do is key the boot lid and spoiler where theyll join and use plenty and secure it in place with say maskin tape .. and leave it to dry in doors ie garage for atleast 24 hours .. it wont be comin off unless seriously pulled on by a robbin chav ...

Alxlaw,

Did you glue/tigerseal the spoiler onto the boot whilst the boot was removed from the car please mate?

mate - the fixings you type of are true - tiger seal nuts n bolts -BUT the skill is the location points the spoiler fixes to . In other words get a bodyshop to fit it fot you ...yes you may get it right but may isnt funny if you get it wrong ..the holes have to drilled at angles that are too easy to mess up ...
and costly can be your mistake

good luck

no what i did was wedge it in between the car roof and the lip of the boot so i didnt need to take it off or stand there like a lemon all day looks like its been there all its life, and the best thing about tiger seal is aslong as the surfaces are clean and are touching flush you dont need to use loads.....iv still got a whole tube left for say......a body kit!

and another thing if your gonna use the bolts good luck coz i drilled holes n f**ked up royaly, i ended up cutting each bolt itself out of the spoiler with a scalpul... and one more thing try not to bend the spoiler too much otherwise ital neva go back to the same shape without alot of time n effort bein wasted,
