hazard perception?!?! thank god i didnt have to do that, just the theory test. you newbies have it much tougher than we did.
hazard perception is easy
i practiced it with my GF when she took hers and passed and i passed it easily.
when i did mine many moons ago i got 34 :D
35/35, and one of the last people to do the paper test 8)

got 35 out of 35 for theory and 2 minors in practical test.
Technically therefore this should make me a good driver.
Now lets count the crashes... lol
James
I too got 35 and passed my practical with only 4 minors. None of the hazard perception shite for me either

i had 9 hours all in all from start to finish.
That is quite a scary thought - they're letting people on the road with only 9 hours experience behind the wheel :o
Imagine if all aircraft pilots only had a couple of hours flying time before piloting jumbo jets and the likes...

yes but some people are natural at driving and get the hang of it easily, whereas some people have loads of lessons before there ready to take their test.
but as everyone says, you dont actually start learning to drive "realistically" untill your actually out there on your own and gaining the experience first hand

Yeah but theres a lot more to driving than just driving.
I knew how to drive before i had lessons, but it still took me 26 lessons.
9 hours, thats nothing really isit!
i carnt wait! every lesson i allways see a nova out and it just makes me want to get out in mine.
