Right im a bit pished off now,as some of you know i fited a new set of hoses to my engine, well i was asking about the heater matrix return pipe, and have seen a few ways to make it so the manifold dose not touch and rub through the pipe, but i was also wondering can you/or should it be posible to grind back the small part that stick toward the bulck head on the inlet manifold,as this is the bugger that it fouling it,and keeps rubbng, its almost rub through this new pipe as its slightly more cunky on external dia,so dose anyone know if the part i wish to get rid of is just there from a part of the cast,or is it there for a reason, and not posible to grind off with out leaving a sliht hole in the inlet..

Cheers

Scott

i cut mine back and used a hose with a bend straight of the pipe and iv never had a problem with it in about 6 years.
