seen some of them been done before, they look quite good.
there is an absolute shed of one near me with the same idea, it looks terrible tho (bad job)
i think it'd look alot better with Twin exhausts , but not quite as good with just 1 exhaust
I did it on mineI didnt have dual exits though - just the GTE exhaust exit and had to shorten it.
Took it off in the end because the towing eye looked out of place...
Looked good though
Ade
i've been thinking of doing this becausei want to do something with the rear bumper, plus i've got a spare GTE bumper lol

what you think of smoothing it on?
http://www.streetrace.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3001

http://www.streetrace.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3009

http://www.streetrace.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3011
My bumpers are sprayed with cans, and have been off and on a few times, and survived plenty of beatings with miss aimed hammers etc
and they aren't flaking.
Splitter should look cool smoothed in tho

getting busy now :)
http://www.streetrace.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3013
Isn't it a bit short at the sides though? I was gonna put an early spec Corsa front rubber type splitter on my rear bumper, keep it well in as well. The rear does need tidied but whats the best way to do it?

shippy bumper paint makes it look nasty

i was thinking of flushing my boot :?:
http://www.streetrace.co.uk/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=3006
Yeah, go for ot. I bought a Shiny Black ABS Plastic Panel that fits over the number plate recess. Looks like the rear of your Nova without the Number Plate recess. Have no pics just yet but if you have a Camra Phone i can send them to you. Need to bond mine on and spray the car though!!

To be truthful Baxter, Your car would look better just leaving the vinyl & keepin smart like it already is.
Id prefer mine not to have been smoothed now.
Lots of people have the flush tailgate. Yours is smart as it is-original style imo.

boot is being smoothed thats why the number plate light has gone (as cars with a smooth boot and the plate still there, just looks like a rush chav job)
there is going to be a recess built into the bumper again it looks gay with out one
so the bumper is know where near finished

Its looking cool.
Keep filling and smoothing
You won't be able to see how "smooth" it is until you paint it, give it a quick spray of ?3 spray paint when its finished, if your eventually going to have them professionally resprayed anyway.
