i've just de- badged the bonnet on my car and i've always liked the race car look so i bought a set of bonnet pins, i think they'd suit a nova what do you guys think?

i bought some for mine but never fitted them as decided they wouldnt go

they would have looked great on the nova epo, the ones i've got are stainless steel so they shouldn't rust, like the cheapo ones

i had some a long time ago. make sure there decent ones coz they rust
like hell really quickly.

yeah i've got some stainless ones mate, so hopefully they won't rust

its not so much the pins rusting as the bonnet if you dont seal the hole you drill through it properly.

TBH I cant see the point in them unless you have a high powered car (2ltr 16v) and drive fast or are on the track and have a lightweight fibre bonnet

I saw the left overs of the RJ automotive Nova whos bonnet flipped up at trax a couple of yrs ago. Did major damage to bonnet and cracked windscreen.

yeah the holes for the pins will be treated, for the moment they would just be for show

yer i think they look good, im going to buy some for mine.

might even get a light wieght boonet to go with them

I got Ugly Purple ones that i sprayed Matt Black, but like Epo, never was arsed fitting them. Getting the Baby Beast Sprayed soon so i'll get them stuck on then.

they'r o-z volcano's. they've stopped making them now.
iv'e been told they were pretty expensive new and thats why you don't
find many for sale. i carn't seem to part with them now coz i only paid ?200 mint. iv'e had em for about 3 years and just put em back on my car the other day till i afford the 18s.
