Side repeaters

C'mon then boys and girls.
I've gotta replace mine and just wondered what everyones opinion was on which ones to get?

I went down to halfords (i know , sorry) And purchased some Clear, bulbed, Oval Repeaters.

They were in a Orange/black box, i'm afraid i don't know the brand name.

They aren't the Rage LED rubbish ones, these are really well made, universal, so they fit a treat, and they're all sealed so you don't get water, and condensation behind the lens ! They also have Silvertech bulbs , so you don't get a nice Egg effect .

however, i've started to lke squarer indicators a bit more. Try getting some Pug 106, or dare i say Saxo Clear indicators, you'l have to do a bit of DIY modding to fit them on, but they are a kind of angular Weldge shape.

A friend of mine had them on his nova, and they really complmented the lines and shape of the arches

i'd go for the mk4 astra side repeaters they look really good, you can get them from vauxhall, and i've seen them in halfords

or a bit more extreme, you could just get rid of them and get wing mirrors with leds on. :? just an idea.

if your nova is beyond a certain age, it'l go through the MOT without side-repeaters. Smooth ?

I'm not sure on how old it has to be.

I used the halfords ones in the orange box with the bulb - theyre good...

Astra MkIV all the way 8) I've got a pair, clear, complete with tangs cut off so they'll fit a nova... yours for ?15 :wink:

Mk2's theoretically can go without side repeaters as the indicator wraps round the wing slightly. Stand 10m away from the car, to the side and adjacent to the rear bumper. If you can see the front side indicator light up (not just a faint glow, actually light up) then you don't need side repeaters.

they have been sprayed, just to look of on the drive, (they were pink) its going for a full external respray soon

Im not calling it i like his car but i was just saying that they don't match and was expecting him to say its going for a respray or something.

Dandan - I rather fancy BWM 5 series if you can get them cheap somewhere but like Jim said... you gotta live with em
