Weekends progress pics (56k warn)

Really pulled my finger out this weekend and got some proper work done on the motor. I know i have always said i didnt like kitted Novas but the Abyss front came up really cheap on ebay so i couldnt let it pass me by :P i dont reckon it looks half bad either..

Also fitted my Astra 256mm ATE brakes - huuuge difference when compared to the piddly 1.2 brakes, and thats with the standard 1.2 servo :!:

Just gotta get the car repsrayed now, but undecided on what shade of red to do - metallic red might look nice, with the abyss front left black, and a black gsi rear bumper.

Yeh GSi one was my first choice, but the bigmouth GSi ones are soo expensive - they were going for ?50+ and i picked the Abyss bumper up for ?40..

Stick gsi stuff on it, then it will look better. Don't think it would look right with abyss front and gsi rear.

I have to agree, that is a cheap looking bumper. Why not try making a big wide mouth GSi bumper. I'm in the middle of doing one, just too lazy to finish it!! :lol:

Iam gonna see how it looks when its all been resprayed, and make a decision then. At the moment, i look at the pics and like it a lot, but GSi stylee is the future :wink:

Dan, you wanna go GTE style with your Nova, would look sweet in that colour especially in 5 door guise.

The front bumper looks shit it looks nothin like a gsi one but the rest looks ok bt u should have left it mk1 and got a gte kit for it. black bumpers are the way forward.

well its staying for now, and in a month or so it might be up for sale again so that i can get a GSi bumper..
