Well 1st id say dnt fit it at all, but that would be no help i think u need the metal bar out of ur original bumper and then attach it with screws. i think

yeh i think thats what im gonna try tommorrow, after speaking with baxter it seems that you have to fibreglass the brackets onto it..

the abyss bumper fits really really badly 4 a start. On the inside of the bumper you'll see a box shaped moulding which has a hollow (can't think of a better way to describe it.) Anyhow u have enough room to bolt the mounting bar to it, its really hard to position it straight, center and high or low enough. Once you've that done u'll need to fiberglass the little rubber mounting to the sides of the bumper where it meets the wings, again your gonna have to make sure it lines up with the holes in the wings. I've found that the bumper rarely ever sits right on the car, plus you have to cut the little plastic sticks on the grill where it meets the bumper, as it dose'nt have the holes in it like the GM bumpers. And try not to flex the bumper much particulary round the wings as they are very poor quality fiberglass a crack very easily (i learnt the hard way) Hope that helps.

don't mean to be so much of a downer on the abyss but if your fitting it to your 5 dr nova, the gte bumper you have on it at present looks great.

Cheers for the advice mate :D

Its not going on the 5door - thats being broken for bits.

Its going onto my 3door, i had originally planned to put a bigmouth GSi bumper on there, but found an Abyss front really cheap (?40) so i thought i would try it and see if it suits my styling - i plan to spray it black, try and make it look like a smoothed GSi bumper, but if its too much hassle to fit i will just sell it on..
