same, but gsi has better interior and is obviosly newer so has a face lift etc...

GTE 16v: Its bloody fast! ;)

gsi has the potential to be faster due to having a cat fitted thus slightly restricting it ie they both hav 100bhp but with out cat gsi culd hav 104bhp like my m8s

tut tut, only going for it if its got nice bodywork, what if its got a lovely personality and minging body work! lol

BEng (hons) just isnt enough, i need a Msc too!

i thought gsi's were slightly faster due to a different injection system? Personal opinion is that GSi's look nicer because of the facelift but there are some that prefer the old style.

mk 1 is a lot better looking, so i'd go for the GTE

the late gsi is a lot quicker as it has the multect mpi injection system like fitted to the sri, and also a different flywheel (hece having to drop the engine to change the clutch)

live fast, die young, leave good looking corpse

Does it matter? If you want a faster nova just stick a bigger engine in!!!

GTE for me, but I do love GSi's too.

GTE's look harder as standard....but GSi's look mint with a bit of modding of the kit, such as splitter and big-mouth....GTE looks mint without modding the kit.

As for interior, GSi is more modern and darker....both are nice though.

GSi has better brakes as do all MKII's

Performance differences are negligible.....do you really notice the difference to 60 is the time is .2 secs quicker or something? Noooo.....so even if the GSi is "slightly" more powerful, you're not going to notice.
