depends how big your wheels are and what size tyres u have on them.

and what final drive u got.

The wheels are 195/45 r14 and the final ratio is standart of a f10wr

AFAIK f10wr come with more than one final drive

4.18 or 3.94

or 3.74.

3.74 in 5th would be 140mph
4.18 in 5th would be 125mph

i had an imporved version of your original spreadsheet kicking around

it gave speed in gear at rpm rather than rpms at set speeds which makes it a bit more user friendly

and it also produces graphs

its here:

http://kevingalloway.myby.co.uk/gearbox%20graph.xls

2x tabs at the bottom let u choose CR or WR clusters, then u modify the tires and final drive to suit

i provide a list of available vaux final drives for you too

problem being no accounting for dynamic wheel radius ;)

Aragorn

so have you modified mine to account for that?

or modified your original one?

what kinda % out is static -> dynamic measurements?

Stuart

it was created from scrath as i lost my original one thats being touted on here :p

the % varies ;)

oi its not all your work!

i took it and rewrote the formulas to display the opposite way round added the graphs and other friendly data and made things easy for the user to fiddle with

anyway i look forward to seeing your latest version
