Just wondering if any of the girls on here have ever done this race or will be doing it this year? Only females are allowed to do it, and all money goes to Cancer Research. The website explains more, but basically everyone knows someone who has had it/survived it or sadly passed away from it. I donate money every month, but thought this would be a nice achievement.

http://www.raceforlife.org/

Well, if no-one is doing it themselves, it would be great if a few of the regular people on here etc would sponsor me to do it. I can be as little as ?1, but ?1 from loads of people makes a difference

If anyone can that would be great, if not then it matters not

If you can then please follow this link to my webpage on the RFL homepage.

THANKS!

:D I have done the race for life and last year i also did the Cancer research 10 k run at hatfield house this is one that both men and women can take part in! Raised loads of money to! It was hard work but at the end of it all i felt brilliant because all the money was going to charity!

Cancer research is a charity that hits home for most people at some point in life and its a really close one for me to!

No plans as yet to do anything this year but i may go in for the 10k again later in the year :o feeling tierd at the thought of it LOL

mmmmm Shall i do it again this year???

Do'h, I had no idea you were doing this Shorty. Had I read it before the Karting I would have given you some money.

I think my girlfriend and her mum did this or something similar last year around Hyde Park in London.

hihi!

Completed my Race for Life today 8)
Me and a mate estimated it was going to take us 50 minutes + , we ended up finishing it in 37 minutes, and about 4 of them were trying to get out of the arena! So I'm pretty chuffed :D

Raised ?180 so far, thanks to all the regulars on here who supported and sponsored me. If you still want to donate (not that the rest of you are going to dip into your pockets!) you can, to get my total to ?200 :D

We were also on HTV Wales earlier too :D not me personally but Rhyl, and the starting race and couple of us doing it :D

pm me if anyone is interested in sponsoring
