View Full Version : Flocked Dash
Where in the name of God do i get one of these, or are they Dashes retrimmed, or stuff stuck on or what. I need to know, they haunt my dreams..... :? :|
lol... flocked as in using Flock and miniture Foliage like they use on moel Railways and Design models ?
if so, we have plenty of Flock and model foligae, tree's, Shrubs, moss at work when we used to make models back in the day lol...
You could create a nice forest scene and a lake on your dash
you laugh nick but the stuff they use is very similar to that fake grass shit
I rekcon with a bit of trimming round the front edge, this would fit in nice:

lol anyway back to the dash i dont think you can buy them flocked unless you buy them second hand. you take your dash to a company that does flocking (easy) and then they spray it on to your dash i beleave

That material would look s**t on a dash.
most rally teams (WRC) us this on the top of the dash to stop the sun blinding the drivers as it doesn't reflect light like a shiny plastic surface.
if done properly it can look v good. You need to watch where you stick it though because constant rubbing or brushing against it will wear it down.
