I know there are a few people on here who know all the product codes etc..

so:

1:does any one know the price of a brand new bonnet from vauxhall...
2:any one got the product code

But, i would suggest getting a good second hand one. If the doors are retailing at ?200 a piece from Vaux, then I am guessing it will be just as dear..

They're right mate, you could get a good one for ?50 max, and just send me the ?150 thats left if you like. Even at that kinda money you could get a Fibre Glass or Carbon Fibre item instead...

Yeh there right go down the scrapey or have a look on ebay there is always loads. I sold a fairly mint bonnet that had faded in colour for a fiver.

I wasnt too sure, as i heard rumours of him keeping it to put back on the nova..

But speaking to him now on msn, it turns out i can still have it, so its all good.
Just a matter of getting it now, its down in luton! :cry:

there is a lovely condition red bonnet, half stripped with a "scooby" scoop part blended in in the scrap bin at CPs place ;)

you can have that for free if you want ;)

what are fibre galss bonnets like? where do you get them from?
i need a new one, some one key'd mine big time!

Fibreglass ones are usually intended for rally use so aren't always top quality.

Colin Smith usually has a bunch of fibreglass parts - although I got the impression he'd gotten rid of his all his stuff now?

Get to the scrappy, mine was a tenner off an early mk1 with no bonnet badge on it!!!!!!!

No point buyin a 'new' bonnet.
