XE re-bore, re-build info

Right my xe engine runs fine but is high milage! And since im going to the ring in may want to get it sorted so as i dont get any nasty suprises.

Want to get the bottom end done, was thinking of polish crank shaft, new bearings, oil seals. And a new set of rings

Just wondering can i get the bores skimmed without having to buy new pistons??

it depends on how worn the bores are.

I dont imagine that they are worn at all, doesnt smoke.

Just want a solid bottom end!

Get a guage and measure it up (or get your local engineering shop to).

If its all good, just get a re-hone.
