Seat Transplant URGENT!

Got a mint pair of Cav Seats off a CDX. Semi - sporty, very comfortable, lumbar adjustment the works!

The only thing is that Nova seats are held in place by 2 U clip brackets bolted to the floor at the front tubular support and by 1 clip on the rear slide rail.

Cavvy seats are bolted at each corner, simplicity itself.

What do I need to do in order to get these cav seats secure in my nova?

Is this a cue to go get some subframes?

What subframes, if needed, do I get?

You need SR, SRi or GSi Nova subframes. Screw off the Cav ones, bolt on the Nova ones and jobs a gudin!!

one thing. SUbframes I guess are just bolt on jobbies and no need to do welding or nothing.

Off to look for some subframes.

err i was sure the nova frames needed welded onto the cav seats but i may be wrong

and i doubt u'll find a scrappy willing to sell you a seat frame without u buying the whole seat so make sure you find a fucked nova seat as they wont change u as much for it

Na, i'm nearly sure they fit on. If not a wee weld'll not take too long to do. If you couldn't be arsed, a few carefully places teck screws should do the trick, although welding would be better.
