Hmm.... what to do.
After some fiddling around yesterday I've come to the conclusion that my current audio (1x Magnat Classic 4000 amp, and a twin sub box with 2x 12" Sony Pentagon subs) insn't going to fit in my boot too well, thanks to an odd shaped boot floor, and a strut brace right in the wrong place. So I've got some options...
Current Configuration.
These pics show how it currently looks.

...As you can see there's a lot of plastic in there which I'm not tooo keen on taking out. Its also quite shallow, due to the 4wd system. The lump in the middle is the spare wheel - i can take that out and mdf over it to make a flat floor.
This is what I've come up with so far. You'll see my excellent photoshop skillz coming to light here... Blue is amp, green is the MDF build, and red is sub/s...
Option 1.
Build a flat (ish lol) false floor in the boot and mount the twin sub box at the back (i.e. rear end) of the boot and the amp in front under the strut brace; and put up with the lack of boot space.

Option 2.
Sell my current amp and subs, use the money to buy a monoblock amp and one 12" sub, and install in a build with the amp at the back and the sub angled and facing the back of the rear seats.

Option 3.
Sell my current subs, keep the amp, and use the money to buy 2x 10" subs, and install as above but with two subs where the one would be.

Option 4.
Sell my current subs, keep the amp, and use the money to buy 2x 8" subs to sit in the rear quarters and leave the boot free (car has 2x 8" speakers in doors and 2x 8" speakers in the rear quarters). Not sure what the mounting depth is for these slots though.

The subs I'm looking at are some Audiobahn AW1251T (http://caraudiosecurity.com/catalog/product_info.php+cPath+60_64_113+products_id+2574) , or the 10" equivalent. I'm not too bothered about LOUD bass (hence why I have the Sonys at the mo lol), just so long as its a) cheapish and b) isn't totally pants.
You'll note my "builds" are very basic... I'm crap when it comes to chopping thigs up out of MDF :P
Yes I know this isn't aimed at Novas, but hey its ICE all the same
